Service Engineer
Our client is a popular band in Europe's largest maker of construction equipment. The company produces a variety of equipment used in construction and farming, including crawler excavators, backhoe loaders, front-end loaders, material handlers.
Responsibilities:
- Provides expert assistance to resolve technical problems encountered by dealers and end users.
- Prompt handling of technical queries and information dissemination.
- Initiate and manage Product Problem Reporting process.
- Visit Dealers and customers on a regular basis with aim of resolving any outstanding technical issues and gathering feedback on the machine and dealers performance.
- Ensure Dealers possess adequate and updated service literatures.
- Timely processing of warranty claims up to limit of authorization.
- Resolves claim details and reimbursement discrepancies as arises.
- Work on machines when required.
- Service and Repair contract cost estimates.
- Any other related activities that arise as situation develop.
- Prompt and effective handling of technical queries.
- Prompt production of Service and Repair cost estimates.
Qualifications:
- 3 years hands on working experience with construction equipment.
- Excellent trouble shooting/problem solving skills.
- Self motivated with focus on results.
- Customer orientated with good communication skills.
- Working knowledge of computer programs – MS Office and Internet.
- Flexibility to travel within China for extended periods.
- Minimum of a trade certificate / diploma in related field.
- Sound English skills both written and spoken
