Job Responsibilities:
l Provides technical inputs in his field of expertise during the project feasibility study,
l Evaluates and comment the tenders,
l Participates in the selection of the contractual vendor list,
l Participates in the contract negotiations,
l Follows up contractors activities during basic and detailed engineering,
l Ensures that engineering is achieved as per contractual requirements,
l Provides necessary technical clarifications required by contractors,
l Makes comments and approves drawings/documents/specifications submitted by the contractors,
l Works closely with field engineers during site works stage, and provides them technical support,
l Participates with civil works field engineers in the civil works inspection before equipment installation.
l To react on a daily basis to any unsafe site conditions is also part of Civil Works Engineer duties and responsibilities.
l Reports to Project Manager (operationally) and to Project Dpt. Engineering Manager (functionally)
Necessary Qualifications:
l A university degree in civil engineering, with extensive experience on civil
engineering design and construction site management at large scale projects.
l The incumbent should also speak fluent English as a working language, with good PC skills of MS Office applications.
